Let love remain undefined, unexplained, yet lived

When we are content with  the present moment
What right do I have, over your next moment
Frolicking moments in the constant flux of life
Can never allow claim, of anyone over  the other

Let’s repeat our experience of joy, if you wish
And keep on repeating the same, till you wish
Yet, let’s not make it the end of our lives,
We can always part gracefully, when you wish

Let love remain undefined, unexplained, yet lived
No fidelity or infidelity in the moments lived together
There can’t be either even when we part with consent

Let Love remain  free, whether or not we are together

Second Inning Friends

March 26th, 2013

Second Inning Friends

Lets be friends
In our second inning of life

How much richer are we,
By the joys, failings and sorrows
Of the inning first
Which we played, without rehearsals
Unaware of whirl-wheel of time, quirks of fate
Unprepared for things, not to our taste

Now is the life
More livable, more enjoyable
No expectations of any kind, from the other
Yet ever ready to share, one’s own pleasure
In gratitude, for everyday’s bonus
That the life bestows, on us together

To enliven the flagging spirits
For living the dreams, long cherished
To become somebody’s heart-throb
Yet again, before we perish
Come, lets be friends
